J.C. Beichner lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and prior to moving to Arizona in 2002, she worked in law enforcement as a Police Services Officer, and also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. JC has dedicated her life to service, giving her talents over in ministry to women, seniors and teens as a volunteer high school youth minister on Core Team for Life Teen at St. Patrick Catholic Community Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jennifer also serves as a Board Member for the charity M. A. D. Girls Inc., sings in the church choir and occasionally teaches Prayer in Motion classes. In addition to her volunteerism, and colorful background, JC enjoys going to school part time, working on a novel or two, and editing for other writers. JC also teaches group fitness classes at her local gym.
In 2013, JC Beichner was named “Woman of the Year” by the Phoenix Diocese Council of Catholic Women, an honor she firmly believes is a testament to how God works through our brokenness to reveal his love, mercy and grace to others.
Grace in Progress: Prayers for the Beautifully Broken is JC Beichner’s first published work and earned her a Silver Medal for Best Book of Christian Devotion/Study in the 2017 Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards. JC expects to release her next devotional, A Holy Struggle, and her first novel, A Dark Place of Promise, by Christmas 2019.
J.C. Beichner speaks to various types of groups on a variety of faith-based topics including but not limited to pro-life advocacy, forgiveness, joyful living and improving the discourse in the abortion debate. J. C. Beichner is especially passionate about youth ministry and speaking to teens as well as women’s groups of all ages about moral issues, authenticity and the power of God’s grace to transform our brokenness into something beautiful to serve his will.
